Ready to buy some tires for my non trailer queen '03 Rubicon. I've run 315/75-16 Goodyear MT/Rs on my junk for several years now (2 sets) and I'm ready for new tires. Between inflation and the shrinking number of alternatives for 16 inch tires I'm open for suggestions. I'm looking for something that doesn't have an E load rating and is cheaper than my beloved MT/Rs. 15s are out for me and I know the rational behind them. My Moab wheels can safely handle being aired down to 9-10 PSI without losing a bead or cutting a sidewall. I'm thinking about getting JK 17" wheels with adapters/spacers and going that route. I noticed a few MAXXIS ball caps at the annual dinner/meeting so, there may be a trend there. Any thoughts of tire alternatives to the MT/Rs? $1,500 is getting a tad high for my budget.

I've got a set of 4 wheel adapters. 5 on 4.5 to 5 on 5. I bought them new and only used them for a couple months on a mall crawler. I'll let em go for $75 if you end up going JK wheels and need them.

I have a set of '15 JKU sport wheels, (the silver 5 star) I'm selling for $125 bucks, no bends, but 2 of the wheels do have some scratches. I'm sure you aren't worried about that if you really wheel. lol

Pretty much, Prius with 33s is pretty fun to drive.

I will, I'm still on the fence.

I went with BFG KMs....whatever, in the 315/75-16s. We'll see how they do. Thanks for all of the helpful input.

Minus typical BFG sidewall strength I liked mine.
