Hello all. Louisvillian here!

Name is Mitch (you'd never have guessed) and I drive a yellow 2001 TJ. I had a gray 5.9L ZJ for about 7 years and loved it...it was totaled by a driver not paying attention when I wasn't even in the car.

I bought a 2001 TJ, did the 5.9L Magnum swap, and am wrapping up some final fit and finish details about it now...but it moves!

I just had a baby 2 months ago, so I won't be able to get out much this year, but I plan to take quite a few trips next year, even if they're just a couple of days each...I prefer a more relaxed ride, with maybe a few technical/sketchy sections, but nothing too crazy. Really I just enjoy the "camping where no one else can get" idea. I can't post pics cause it says I'm too new, but I will post some when it will let me.


Plans are to swap over the 12K winch from the ZJ when I get a bumper, put on a rear bumper, paint the MOAB wheels black or gunmetal, and then swap the duratracs over to those rims. And then drive it!

I am in the process right now of installing the following before I can go back to driving it daily:
-adjustable control arms (sourced from the ZJ)
-JKS Quick discos (sourced from ZJ)
-242 transfercase and SYE hack and tap/driveshaft

Already done is:
-5.9L Magnum swap with a bench tune from B&G
-AX15
-8.8 swapped/trussed
