Carb Hill & Rattlesnake

Post by ky mudhunters » Wed Oct 11, 2017 12:06 pm

I have seen on Facebook that the forest cops are writing tickets if you are on carb or rattlesnake. Anyone know what the deal is?? We were thinking about heading down to ride in a couple of weeks and I don't really want to come back having to pay a fine.

Supposedly there are signs up saying that the trail is closed. But I've heard and read the same from lots of sources.

Thanks for the info Bobby. I guess we will just stay clear of the area. I wonder if the trail around Widowmaker is closed as part of that?

I've not been up there lately. I did get a call the other night saying little widow maker was part of the park.

I've not been up there in like a year or more to carb. I don't care for it much. But I've also heard the rumor but not actually talk to anyone that got a ticket. I believe they was asking people to stay off it until they got a few things ironed out with the park that may or may not happen..
