Hi...My name is Nate Bingham. I recently just moved back to Northern Kentucky from Pennsylvania. I've been light to moderate wheeling for the past 11 years. I'm currently on my second jeep a 11' JKUR with some minor upgrades for the wheeling I'm accustomed to. My first was a 99' TJ, man do I miss the inline 6. I never got into the jeep club thing till I couple years ago when I was in PA. I really enjoyed the support and learning I experienced from that membership. So when I arrived back in KY I was looking for the same and was turned on to you guys by my jeep mechanic of 11 years. I just recently went out with a couple of your members and had a blast.

Welcome Nate....

Hello everyone. Just ran across this group on a internet search. I live in Madison county, and work in Georgetown. I currently drive a 2000 TJ, that at the moment is pretty much stock.

Welcome! I live in Berea and work in Lexington. What are your plans for the TJ?

Nothing screams poor workmanship more than wrinkles in the duct tape.

Nothing to crazy. 3in lift, probably 33's. I'm not looking to make an insane crawler but something I can have a good time offroading with. It's my daily driver as well.

Hi all, my name's Kearney and I live and work in Lexington. I'd heard of the site/group before but just joined the other day when I was searching for info on the Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway. I just checked it out today, from Slade I went through the tunnel and then went up Spaas Creek. I was by myself and took one wrong route, got in a hairy situation with a back wheel too far off the ground for my comfort but it was fine.

It was very wet but pretty mild trail overall, never came close to getting stuck 'til the very end because of some big ruts but never had to winch.

Anyway would like to go on some mild rides in the future, I really liked the DBBB. Edit: won't let me embed or link images b/c i'm a new user...it's a white '05 toyota 4runner V8 with OME 3" lift, ARB front bumper, warn winch, 32" skinny BFG all terrains.

Welcome to ky krawlers. I'm also a fellow toyota owner. I would also recommend not riding alone in places you aren't familiar with. Keep a look on the forum for up coming open rides you can join in on. Image

Hey, my name is Alex. You may see my Red 2d jeep sitting outside of Truck and Auto Extras. It is an 08 Wrangler on 3.5 inches of lift, that I have owned since September. I bought it completely stock and have caught the Jeep Fever of dumping money into it. I am from Eastern Kentucky and about 15 minutes away from Slade. I live in Richmond as I am finishing my degree at Eastern Kentucky University where I also played 4 years of baseball as well. Looking forward to meeting plenty of you all and becoming an active member. I am also here any time you all need any parts quick to make yourself mall rated or get some true off road equipment as well.

Welcome to the newbs!!! I haven't been here on in a while. You'll find this forum and its people a cool place to hang with. I'm in Mt. Sterling so Slade isn't far away from me. My boy Logan and I take spur of the moment rides occasionally through places like Spaas Crk, Sand Lick and just recently the Hells Crk area over from Schumacher Ridge. Like I said we are sour if the moment riders but will try to get a group of the newbies together and have some fun.
